Prosthodontist Day 2023 was celebrated in a grand manner by the Dept. of Prosthodontics with a variety of programs. The program was inaugurated by Dr Sameer, Vice Principal by lighting the traditional lamp. A live painting was done by Mr. Yadhu and Ms. Tamima (interns) on the theme ‘God Creates, We Recreate’.
Various competitions were held for students including Scientific presentations on ‘Denture Awareness for Patients’, Impression to Win, Prostho Reels, Pictionary and Debate. A ‘Staff Smile Survey’ was also conducted by Dhruva Students Union. Cultural activities including dance performance by 1st BDS students Ms. Gayathri, Ms. Lidhiya and Ms. Jumana and semi-classical dance by Mrs. Sanija, non-teaching staff, Dept. of Prosthodontics.
The winners of the competitions were felicitated at the concluding ceremony at Inspiration Point, MESDC. Programme coordinator, Dr. Haseena proposed the vote of thanks.
