The department of public health dentistry in collaboration with the department of prosthodontics and implantology conducted an oral screening program at Saketham old age home, Vylongara. The team comprised of Dr Krishnaja Kumar, Senior lecturer, Department of public health dentistry, Dr Neethu, post graduate, Department of prosthodontics and implantology, and interns Dr Farhath, Dr Hebha, Dr Swetha and Dr Hanna Shafi. The camp started at 10.00 am with the screening of inmates of the old age home. This was followed by a talk on the importance of oral health. Dr Neethu also presented a talk on the importance of dentures, difficulties expected while using dentures along with hygienic maintenance of dentures to avoid infections. The camp ended at 12.30 pm.
