ESSIX RETAINER FABRICATION- A PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT WORKSHOP ON 08/11/2025
The professional development workshop on Essix Retainer Fabrication was held on 08-11-2025 from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm at the PG Clinic, Department of Orthodontics, with 45 registered participants. The program began with an inaugural session where Dr. Vincy, HOD, Department of Orthodontics, welcomed the audience and speakers Dr. Shahanamol and Dr. Indu, who explained the theoretical aspects of Essix retainers, including sheet thicknesses and fabrication principles. Following a tea break at 11:00 am, a live demonstration was conducted, covering cast trimming, fabrication steps, and retainer trimming. The workshop concluded with an interactive question-and-answer session, after which e-certificates were distributed to all participants.
