Admission to MBBS/BDS/ Diploma and MD/MS courses
Introduction
As per regulations framed under the Indian Medical Council Act -1956 and the Dentists Act-1948 and as amended from time to time, NATIONAL ELIGIBILITY CUM ENTRANCE TEST (UG) (NEET (UG) will be conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission to MBBS/BDS Courses in Indian Medical/Dental Colleges run with the approval of Medical Council of India/Dental Council of India under the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India except for the institutions established through an Act of Parliament i.e. AIIMS and JIPMER Puducherry.
Admission to all seats of MBBS/BDS courses will be done through NEET UG conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) and admission to Diploma and MD/MS courses will done through NEET PG conducted by the National Board of Examinations (NBE).
All aspiring candidates shall have to qualify in the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test for admission to the above-mentioned Courses
HOW TO APPLY
The Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, New Delhi, Government of India, as per letter dated 10-03-2017 directed the respective state government to conduct Common counseling for admission to UG and PG courses in all medical education institution in their respective state including private medical colleges. Hence application for admission to MBBS course in the college shall be submitted to the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, Government of Kerala.
Schedule of Selection and Admission
Will be as per the time schedule fixed by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, Government of Kerala based on the time schedule fixed by the Medical Council of India/Hon’ble Supreme Court of India.
