The Department of Public Health Dentistry, MES Dental College, organized a dental screening and awareness camp at A.M.U.P School, Vilayur, on 10th August 2025. The camp aimed to promote oral health among school children through early detection of dental problems and the reinforcement of healthy oral hygiene practices.A total of 55 students were screened during the program, out of which 15 dental procedures were carried out, including preventive and basic curative treatments. The camp was successfully coordinated by Dr. Vani Krishna, supported by a dedicated team of interns, who actively participated in both screening and educating the students.The initiative was well-received by the school community, creating awareness about the importance of oral health care and encouraging students to adopt better dental hygiene habits.
