A dental screening and awareness camp was conducted on 25th July 2025 at Buds School, Chamalasheri, jointly organized by the Department of Public Health Dentistry and the Department of Pediatric and Preventive Dentistry, MES Dental College. The camp was aimed at providing oral healthcare services to both the students of the school and the general public. A total of 25 special children and 30 members of the general public were screened during the camp. Dr. Vishnuraj and Dr. Priya Viswanathan were the staff in charge, supported by a team of four interns. The program included comprehensive dental check-ups, preventive care services, and personalized oral health education. Special focus was given to the unique oral health needs of children with special needs, along with community-based preventive strategies. Awareness sessions were also conducted to emphasize the importance of oral hygiene and early intervention in maintaining overall dental well-being.
