A dental screening camp was jointly organized by the Department of Public Health Dentistry and the Department of Pediatric & Preventive Dentistry, MES Dental College, on 3rd July 2025 at MES Central School, Amayur.
The camp aimed to promote oral health awareness and provide basic dental screening for the school students. A team led by Dr. Safa Akbar Ali coordinated the camp, supported by a group of 8 interns and Dental Operating Room Assistant (DORA), Mr. Saran.
Students were screened for common dental problems, and personalized oral hygiene instructions were provided. The initiative helped in early detection of dental issues and reinforced the importance of preventive oral care among children.
The camp was well-received and successfully met its objectives.
