The Department of Public Health Dentistry and the Department of Pediatric & Preventive Dentistry successfully organized a two-day Dental Screening Camp at MES College of Engineering Campus School, Kuttipuram, on January 23 and 24, 2025. The camp aimed to promote oral health awareness and provide dental check-ups for school students. Over the course of two days, a total of 635 students were screened, with 280 students on Day 1 and 355 students on Day 2.
The initiative was well-received by students, parents, and school authorities. The screening process helped identify various dental health issues, and appropriate oral health education was provided to the students. Those requiring further treatment were advised to visit the dental college for comprehensive care. The event was a great success, emphasizing the importance of preventive dentistry and reinforcing our commitment to community oral health care. We extend our gratitude to the school management, faculty, and all participants for their cooperation and enthusiasm.
