The MES Dental College has a library which measures more than 10000 sq.ft. it has separate areas for UG and PG students. A separate reading room where students can bring their own books is a special feature of the Library. We have a good collection of National and International journals. Free WIFI and Internet facility for PG students is also available. We have a good collection of books and titles.
The role of teacher in a professional college is to introduce the subjects to the students and guide and motivate them. So far, no software tool with which the teacher can ‘copy- paste’ information contained in a book to the student’s brain has been invented. Knowledge acquisition to be more effective has to come from self learning rather than from being taught.
“More than the effort of teacher it is the intrinsic drive from within the student that makes a good student” Proper use of library is therefore important.
