A talk was organized in observance of Public Health Dentistry Day, underscoring the importance of public health in dental practice by the department of public health dentistry for interns and students at 9.00 am. The Project Foresight 2024 talk aimed to elucidate the role of the Indian Dental Association (IDA) and its activities. Dr. Sruthi welcomed the IDA members, setting the stage for an engaging program. Dr. Civy V Pulayath, Co-Convenor IDA, delivered an inspiring speech on excellence in dentistry. This was followed by a comprehensive PowerPoint presentation by Dr. K.N. Thomas, a Central Council member, highlighted key initiatives and future plans. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Lanu Abraham, Convenor of the Membership Development Committee. Other members Dr. Shanu (Resident IDA Ernad Branch) also participated in the talk.
