The Health Services Department, Arogyakeralam, and the National Tuberculosis Elimination Program (NTEP), Malappuram, organized the World TB Day Observationon 24th March 2025. The event aimed to raise awareness about tuberculosis and reinforce the commitment to its elimination.
The program was inaugurated by M.K. Rafeeka, Panchayath President, and the District Collector of Malappuram, Sri. V.R. Vinod IAS**, attended as the Chief Guest. Various stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, students, and community members, actively participated in the event.
Participation of MES Dental College
MES Dental College participated in the TB awareness rally co-ordinated by Department of Public Health Dentistry , started from the Collectorate, Malappuram, and concluded at the Town Hall. A team of 33 members including faculties,interns,undergraduate students, and DORA represented the institution, demonstrating their dedication to public health awareness.
In recognition of their enthusiastic participation and efforts in spreading TB awareness, MES Dental College secured the third prize in the rally competition. This achievement reflects the institution’s commitment to health education and community engagement.
