FDP-“INTRAORAL SCANNING- PRECISION AT YOUR FINGER TIPS” IN ASSOCIATED WITH RUNYES 3DS – ORAL TECHNOLOGIES
The Dental Education unit (DEU) in associated with IQAC conducted a program on “Intra Oral Scanning – Precision at Your Finger Tips” for all the Faculty and PG students. The program was conducted in associated with Runyes 3DS – Oral technologies. The topic aimed at instilling knowledge about latest in digital dentistry. The program started at 9:15 am with 46 registered participants. Dr. Indu Nambiar from the department of Orthodontics welcomed the gathering and introduced the speaker Mr. Sumit, resource person and company representative. He demonstrated the correct scanning technique in detail. He explained various scanning techniques for various procedures like bite registration, implants, crowns, orthodontic retainers etc. one of the participants was chosen as live demo and a complete mouth scanning was done to demonstrate a real – life scenario. The program ended at 10.30am. an e-certificate was send to all registered participants.
