We were honored to host Dr. Anthony George, Professor and Head of the Department of Oral Pathology, for an insightful session on Intellectual Property Rights (IPR). The event, organized by the Centre of Research and the Department of Oral Pathology in collaboration with the Dental Education Unit and IQAC, provided a deep dive into the importance of protecting innovation within the field of dentistry. Dr. George’s expertise illuminated how intellectual property is integral to safeguarding research, inventions, and new treatments in the oral health sector.
The seminar highlighted the various forms of intellectual property righs and explored their relevance for researchers, practitioners, and students. It was a great opportunity to enhance awareness on how intellectual property plays a vital role in fostering innovation, maintaining ethical standards, and supporting academic progress.
